The Papillon is built as four distinct elements working together in one composition. A central butterfly with wings channel-set in baguette-cut clear stones - the linear faceting catching light differently than any pave would. A small polished butterfly above on the chain, silhouetted in pure rose gold - quiet, smaller, a companion. A delicate chain dropping below the main pendant. A single freshwater pearl at the bottom of the drop, completing the lariat.

Most butterfly necklaces are simple - one butterfly, one chain. The Papillon refuses that simplicity. The composition tells a small story instead: butterfly leading to butterfly, butterfly leading to pearl, pearl as the moment of stillness after motion.

We named it Papillon (French for "butterfly") to distinguish it from our Mariposa Butterfly Pendant - same creature, different language, different interpretation. The Mariposa is a single statement. The Papillon is a small narrative.
